Arab Fashion Week 2016

We are so so proud to be doing all the hair and make up for Arab Fashion Week.

The debriefing with all the best make up artists in Dubai at The Lipstick make up Institute which is the best make up Institute in Dubai, in our opinion.

Tomorrow it all begins with the Kids fashion show and Lamya Abedin.

We will be updating the blog every day with millions of backstage pictures which is where all the action happens. We will put videos on. Instagram, Facebook and twitter.

We cannot contain our excitement. We have a team of about 45 Make Up Artists. 15 Hair specialist and 10 mail technicians.

It makes us so happy when someone is interested in what we are achieving.

When I think that we have only been open nearly a year!. Our 1st anniversary is October 13th. I am so proud of what we gave achieved. It just goes to show, together we can do anything.

Team work is everything.As I tell me teams, we are all as important as each other. We are all part of this wheel that keeps turning. Without each other then we are no as strong. The more the merrier. Thats what I have always said and as I am seeing, its absolutely true.

We are so happy to have so many different teams joining us.

Hi Everyone!

Well here we are again doing what we love and being crazy in the studio, having fun whilst creating the zombie and old age look on the run up to Halloween when all the goals come out and the broomsticks!! ha ha

We have collected over the years all the facts and tips that we need to create theses looks and thats what make us one if the best make up schools in Dubai.

We all remember the days when everyone dressed up as of vampires to of to fancy dress but zombies are even more exciting as there are no rules, you can have as many cuts and scars as you like. There is no format to applying zombie make up.

You have to apply the first few rules and get a great base using the latex in a fashion that will create a long lasting bespoke look.

Every Sunday we have teamed up with Nikki Beach Dubai and we celebrate, “Amazing Sundays”. Our sister company, YH Studios DXB, does all the photography when all the girls and boys are made up by The Lipstick Make up Institute Team, making our statement that we are fast becoming the best make up school in Dubai.

Everyone can come and join us, its fun in the sun. Its not like work for us. We brought two of our make up students who travelled just to Dubai to join Our Lipstick make up School. Rim from Jordan and Mirjam from Germany.

I would like to share my first ever training that I attended in Dubai. My motivation to attend the training organised by The Lipstick Make up Institute and the YH Studios Dubai by Yasmin Hussain last June 2016.

The training theme is of special relevance to my professional goals and career objectives, and therefore I really appreciate the opportunity given to me to attend this training together with my professional co makeup artist.

Contouring is really popular right now but what make up artists can learn more from is the creative applications.

Once we went to a company to discuss using their Hollywood products in the school before we eventually decided on Kryolan, there was never really any competition with really but we had to be open to suggestions.

They showed us some samples and I had to leave her there as it was just not exciting enough for me, 3,5 hours later she calls me to pick her up!

The Lipstick Make Up institute Team are on set for the next 3 days of TV show Colors Cricket Quiz 2016 In association with Studio House Video Domination. Proud of what we are achieving!

Today Studio House tomorrow Azerbaijan !! We are trying our best for all the girls who form our Teams. Lets see where it gets us guys!

We are trying to branch out and do everything we can to show case case our skills so from teaching make up and make up artists to fashion shows, models portfolios, advertising adverts, documentaries, tv shows, tv quizzes, you tube videos, real life fly on the wall shows to anything and everything that involves media , make up and photography.

Additionally, watching tutorials and trying new techniques can be exciting. Each time we try something new, we get a bit better. It’s like practicing a magic trick until we get it just right.

Also, makeup can help us connect with others. Friends often share tips and tricks or enjoy getting ready together.

However, this shared experience can bring people closer. It’s a way to bond over a common interest.

I attended the three days Dubai zombie challenge that took place in wonderland, Dubai from 7^th till 9^th of April 2016

The event was organised and supervised by the famous French Le Manoir de Paris, they are specialised in makeup and special effects.

There were 2 amazing ladies Laura and Dalila they were responsible for the clients that wants to change into zombies, they took good care of them with smiles and love from the entrance till the makeup room, and they also were supervising the whole event.
