WKND KHALEEJ TIMES MAGAZINE INTERVIEW because we were honoured to be choosen by the khaleej times magazine to interview the lipstick makeup institute.

In their next coming episode about the no makeup look which is a new makeup trend  taking media and everyone by  storm  .

However, our makeup artist explained  on our lovely model in a live tutorial  how to achieve a no makeup look.

All in all, this is  actually harder than it looks. Its simple but complicated as its not easy to make your makeup invisible  because you have to choose the exact right colours.

As long as you   work for your skin tone  and to appear with a natural gorgeous skin , eyelids  , long eyelashes , pink cheecks and sun kissed glow skin.

Getting Great Skin tones

 

Firstly, the look seems effortless. Trying to look natural is more difficult than it appears.

However, this is actually becoming very popular with our clients. It’s had had a sudden shift from serious contouring and very pronounced features to simple looks.

Secondly, Its really lovely to see that people are opting for back to basics rather than the really heavy trend that has ben in for a while now.

Thirdly,  strong eyebrows are kind of fading out too.

The very dark, structured eyebrows are becoming softer. The fresh, no effort, nude make up look is finally come back.

Lastly, the little blush like a summers day is back!  Yippee!!

3. To Find the Right Foundation: Always Read the Label

It might sound obvious, but you should always read the label before purchasing a new product, especially a new foundation.

4. For the Ultimate Shade Match: Buy Two Foundations

If a foundation you love doesn’t have the perfect shade match for you, buy a foundation that’s one shade lighter than your skin tone and one that’s slightly darker, then combine the two. While we know this is a more expensive option, it does just mean that both formulas will last longer

5. For the Perfect Shade: Figure out Your Undertone

Finding the right undertone is key to shade matching like a pro-MUA. There are three key undertones: warm (golden, red, and yellow undertones), cool (beige and pink undertones), and neutral (a balance of gold and pink undertones). Your undertone, look at the veins on the inside of your wrist; if they’re green, you have a warm undertone (the yellow in your skin acts as a filter and makes your blue veins look green), and if they look blue, you have a cool undertone. Neutral undertones will see a combo of green and blue veins.

Many colors and types of lipstick exist. As with most other types of makeup, lipstick is typically, but not exclusively, worn by women. The use of lipstick dates back to medieval times. Some lipsticks are also lip balms, to add color and hydration.

Applying  Lipstick:

  1. Apply lip balm. Dot your lip with lip balm to smooth them and reduce crevices. …
  2. Use a lip liner. Choose a color that matches your lips, not your lipstick. …
  3. Apply lipstick. Pick up the lipstick and apply the color, starting at the center of the upper lip and moving outward toward one corner. …
  4. Blot your lips.

Quick Tips

Firstly: To turn a glossy finish lip color into a matte finish, dust on some translucent loose powder on the lips and let it rest for few seconds. Dab them with a flat or a fluffy brush to even the powder out.

Secondly: If you wish to soften the hard lines formed by the lip liner, use your fingers or a Q-tip and blend the edges.

Thirdly: To make your lip color last throughout the day, apply the lipstick and cover the lips with a tissue paper and dust some translucent powder over it. This ensures that your lipstick stays put for a really long time.

Fourthly: While applying the lipstick with a brush, use an angular brush. This helps in providing a defined look.

Fifthly: If you wish to follow the pastel lip trend and do not want to shell out any more money on buying them, you can make your own pastel color (DIY). Use a white pencil all over the lips and pat any of your favorite lip color onto the lips.

Sixthly: To achieve plumper looking lips, apply some cream-based highlighter onto the Cupid’s bow.
