Photoshoot for Kids Fashion

Yesterday we had a wonderful day shooting kids fashion with some lovely kids at YH STUDIOS DXB and THE LIPSTICK MAKEUP INSTITUTE during ONE FRIDAY KIDS photoshoot .

One Friday , a high fashion and affordable kids wear retailer in India , thier collection features kids wear , shoes , accessories, sunglasses, headbands and trinkets , to suit all the wardrobe needs under one roof .

Kids started arriving with their parents to the studio early morning and i worked on their hair and makeup .

However, Yasmin our managing director and head photographer started styling thier clothes , shoes and accessories which arrived organized in different sizes and colours for boys and girls .

The day of the shoot

The day was full of excitement , happiness and joy , we were running after the kids all over the place changing their outfits , playing in the sand. The kids were not bothered about the wind and even the rain at times!

We did half the shoot the week before on the Palm as one of the kids was leaving Dubai. It was a must that we had to photograph her though. She is so cool and very stylish that we had to include her in the shoot so we did.

Part 2 was on the beach on a very unpredictable day. It was cloudy, windy and very blustery. We had to do the shoot!! There was no time to waste. This time of year the weather is so unpredictable but we took our chances and it paid off.

It was so much much fun. More importantly we got amazing pictures and the kids had so much fun.

الآن سوف نتحدث عن تجربة واحد من طلابنا هنا الذي تولى البلاتين دورة مكياج في لأحمر الشفاه المكياج المعهد الذي تخرج في ديسمبر الماضي 2016.

طار Javaria كل من باكستان إلى الانخراط في معهدنا. وقالت إنها بدأت مع صفر المعرفة في ماكياج. في البداية أنها لا تعرف كيفية التفريق بين الفرق بين الظل من الأساس، ما هو يناسب لون البشرة من شخص واحد. هذه هي الخطوة الأكثر أهمية عند تطبيق الماكياج. الكلمة نفسها، “الأساس” حقا يقول كل شيء. مثل عند بناء المنزل، وإذا كان لديك أساسا جيدا ثم يمكنك بناء على ذلك بنجاح. التشبيه آخر مثل العلاقة. تبدأ أساسا جيدا ثم وهذا يمكن أن يبنى على وجود علاقة مذهلة يمكن أن تنمو.

بدأنا تبين لها الأدوات، وأنواع مختلفة من فرش. ثم تليها خطوة بخطوة حول كيفية تطبيق ماكياج بدءا من التنظيف، التنغيم والترطيب.

تحليل الشكل، لون البشرة من شخص ليست سهلة للمبتدئين ولكن إذا كان لديك شغف واهتمام لمعرفة ذلك سيأتي من السهل تحديد تماما مثل ما فعل Javaria. تستمع ولاحظ جيدا لمعلمتها لتحقيق هذا النوع من الماكياج لنماذج لها. ببطء يوما بعد يوم عن طريق القيام ماكياج لنماذج لها أنها حققت أنواع مختلفة من نظرة من النهار ننظر إلى المساء، ونظرة براقة. وكذلك نظرة المبدع الذي يتمتعون به للقيام كثيرا.

The secret of a dewy skin

We all love that healthy glow and wet finish on the skin.

It gives a fresh and soft look on the skin and of course its an absolute trend .

To achieve it will share with you some really easy techniques and tips :

Use a moisturiser before foundation
Spray your face with water spray before the foundation
Apply the liquid foundation with foundation brush
Spray the water spray all over your face
Apply Kryolan Shimmering Event Foundation in a thin layer onto the face
Spray the face with water spray
Add a touch of loose powder on the face
Spray your face with water spray

It is easy and quick.

Looks really nice in his weather but summertime also.

The Lipstick Makeup Institute was at Oracle today and was doing a live demonstration about the importance of makeup.

Before we went there to see all the lovely ladies we had to think of a few words to catch their attention. We had to let everyone know that we are The Best Make Up Institute in Dubai ha!

Although So This is what we thought of:

So we should call it the “Feel Good Factor”

A woman’s mood can change in an instant if hey look good, they will fell good. If they feel good they will smile and radiate energy thats contagious and positive and can only be a great thing!

Make up is a very important contributory factor to helping this.

I will give young scenario.

If a lady feels a little tired and has no make up on and she catches herself in the mirror, she will shy away an feel even worse than she looks and hence will have a lower tone on the phone and not project any positive vibes to clients or even friends.

On the other side, if she has make up on and she catches herself in the mirror and she looks good! she will feel good and radiate that energy to potential clients giving positive vibes throughout the office and can only be good for self esteem and for business.

So the solution is, to make the most out of yourself every day to feel good and this is also goof for your health, marriage and self esteem!

All in all these questions were answered on our live demonstration.

We started with a light daytime look discussing about choosing the right colour of foundation, application techniques, contours and highlights and setting the foundation.

Afterward this step we were giving a brief description about filling up and defining the eyebrows.

Firstly Eye makeup – easy steps for a daytime application using all neutral colours

Secondly Mascara application giving a final touch for the eyes

How to apply the blusher and where to place it exactly, which colours are for the daytime look.

Thirdly Lipliner and lipstick application with a touch of a gloss was our finishing step on our lovely model.

Now we gave a situation to our Ladies of usual everyday situation of no having time for makeup touchup for an evening time.

We added a bit of drama on the eyes, cheeks and lips.

Just in few steps you can easily transform your makeup from a daytime to a glamorous evening look.

Try to concentrate on the eyebrows, eyes, cheeks and lips.

Add more colour and more darker colour on the eyes, make the blusher stronger and add a darker lipstick on the lips its that easy to achieve an evening look.

Courcelles Fashion Show

Courcelles Fashion Show
The Lipstick Makeup Institute Team is really excited to be working together and to be part of such event. Held at Dubai Ladies Club on Saturday 5th November.

The Beautiful kids wore all the designer labels. Boss Hugo Boss, Chloe , Little Marc Jacobs , Karl Lagerfeld Kids, DKNY and Billyblush

These are just some of the luxury fashion brands represented by the cuttest kids of different countries.

The little beauties loved it and were so excited. I was so proud of them. One or two had a little moment but soon got over it.

There were lots of activities for them to keep them amused too and nail painting, games slides etc. Also complimentary food such as burgers, hot dogs, chips. There was even deserts crepes, popcorn , candy floss and ice creams. Not only for the children but for all the parents too.

The Events company #mo4network did an amazing job of organising the whole event and bringing it all together.

It was our pleasure and enjoying every single minute of them doing their Rosey cheeks. blushes, powder and lip gloss The hair that all gorgeous thick and curly, it was amazing styling them while the kids talking and asking so much questions, as kids do. If I could do a fashion Show like this every week, I would love it. Such a pleasure to work not only with the kids but the parents too. Its so lovely to see everyone happy and pulling together. It also gives The Lipstick make Up team more experience in every genre. We want to do every event in Dubai that we can. We just love it. Make Up is not just about being am make up institute and teaching but getting involved in all these different diverse events, its fun!

Arab Fashion Week Final Day

I just have to share these images with you from Arab Fashion Week Final day. It was so amazing. The models, The Lipstick make Up Institute Teams were just on fire as were the Lipstick Hair Teams.

Just a team effort. Its amazing the amount of people that come together and support each other and help one another.

The Lipstick Make Up Institute is fast becoming in demand as is getting known because of our dedication. Hard work and commitment to our clients for being one of the best if not the best make Up Institute in Dubai. We work hard for this title though. Pure work but to be truthful it does not feel like work at all as its just what we love to do.

This is our motto on the wall, ” Love What you do and do what you love”.

Thats the slogan we all live by and as I say to everyone the day I stop loving it is the day that I will stop. Pack my bags and retreat to a far away island, open a bar, get a little boat to pull clients on water skis. Have a little tapas restaurant attached with a a Spanish/ Pakistani/ Irish twist!. I am half Pakistani and half Irish and tapas originates from Spain Thats where all the fusion come together.

Thats my dream and believe me one day I will do it but right now I am loving my life just too much but one day not too far away.

“Time to Chill” will be my new slogan to live my life by.

What a week so far, day 3 of Arab Fashion Week. The Lipstick Make Up Institute Teams are always hard at work. Behind the scenes making sure everything runs smoothly.

Working with International Models flown in from all over the world. Brazil, Italy, Switzerland, Russia and lots of places.

What a pleasure to work with such professionals.

Just amazing, all the Lipstick Teams loved it. We had major support from everyone. Feel so lucky and proud. after this event we can do anything in the world. Its on par with New York, Milan and London Fashion Weeks.

First Day of Arab Fashion Week

What a great start to Arab Fashion Week, The lipstick Make up Teams are showing Dubai just how good they are. We have such great support. Brown Sugar Hair Salon, Wisam Nour Hair Salon are our amazing partners.

Arab Fashion Week 2016

We are so so proud to be doing all the hair and make up for Arab Fashion Week.

The debriefing with all the best make up artists in Dubai at The Lipstick make up Institute which is the best make up Institute in Dubai, in our opinion.

Tomorrow it all begins with the Kids fashion show and Lamya Abedin.

We will be updating the blog every day with millions of backstage pictures which is where all the action happens. We will put videos on. Instagram, Facebook and twitter.

We cannot contain our excitement. We have a team of about 45 Make Up Artists. 15 Hair specialist and 10 mail technicians.

It makes us so happy when someone is interested in what we are achieving.

When I think that we have only been open nearly a year!. Our 1st anniversary is October 13th. I am so proud of what we gave achieved. It just goes to show, together we can do anything.

Team work is everything.As I tell me teams, we are all as important as each other. We are all part of this wheel that keeps turning. Without each other then we are no as strong. The more the merrier. Thats what I have always said and as I am seeing, its absolutely true.

We are so happy to have so many different teams joining us.

Every Sunday, The Lipstick make Up teams are at Nikki Beach Dubai, chilling with the customers and enjoying, “Amazing Sundays”. This happens across the globe at all Nikki Beach clubs from St. Tropez to Miami.

Our team paint the customers faces and arms, apply tattoos and party!

We have the headdress, make up, photography and its all free.

Also teamed up with Nikki Beach to give the customers the best time on Sundays that they can have.

Its like a little escape from Dubai. To me, it truly make me feel like I am in the Mediterranean.

The whole set up is so cool and lots go amazing sides to it. Even the sea look so different than the sea at like say, Barasti which is near where I live why? I have no idea it just seems to be really blue!
