Yesterday was a great day Dubai tv was shooting at the lipstick makeup institute .

However, we introduced The Lipstick Make Up Institute and its services.

Photoshoot for Kids Fashion

Yesterday we had a wonderful day shooting kids fashion with some lovely kids at YH STUDIOS DXB and THE LIPSTICK MAKEUP INSTITUTE during ONE FRIDAY KIDS photoshoot .

One Friday , a high fashion and affordable kids wear retailer in India , thier collection features kids wear , shoes , accessories, sunglasses, headbands and trinkets , to suit all the wardrobe needs under one roof .

Kids started arriving with their parents to the studio early morning and i worked on their hair and makeup .

However, Yasmin our managing director and head photographer started styling thier clothes , shoes and accessories which arrived organized in different sizes and colours for boys and girls .

The day of the shoot

The day was full of excitement , happiness and joy , we were running after the kids all over the place changing their outfits , playing in the sand. The kids were not bothered about the wind and even the rain at times!

We did half the shoot the week before on the Palm as one of the kids was leaving Dubai. It was a must that we had to photograph her though. She is so cool and very stylish that we had to include her in the shoot so we did.

Part 2 was on the beach on a very unpredictable day. It was cloudy, windy and very blustery. We had to do the shoot!! There was no time to waste. This time of year the weather is so unpredictable but we took our chances and it paid off.

It was so much much fun. More importantly we got amazing pictures and the kids had so much fun.

It always shows in the images and on the kids faces. Running freely on the sand and in the water is just so liberating for them and its not work its enjoyable.

Day 2 Halloween Make up

Our second day at #billionairemansiondubai where we are doing all the halloween make up! Scary stuff ha. One of the best nightclubs in Dubai.

Don’t you just love Dubai? Everyone just gets so involved and makes the most of every occasion. It really is a community like no other. I feel that everyone cares about themselves and loves one another and really do make friends easy here. Make up and photography brings everyone together in a unique way.

This is a city to party and make the most out of life. You would think in an Arab country things would be a little suppressed but Sheikh Mohammed in my eyes and really everyone I know we call him The Great Sheikh Mohammed. He is the greeters guy on this earth in my opinion, I can say that because my father is no longer with us!

He has given us an opportunity to come here and live our dreams. Given us the freedom to grow and create and party! I can’t thank this great man enough.

So getting back to Halloween, As I do tend to meander when I feel passionate about things which is basically everything!!

First Day of Arab Fashion Week

What a great start to Arab Fashion Week, The lipstick Make up Teams are showing Dubai just how good they are. We have such great support. Brown Sugar Hair Salon, Wisam Nour Hair Salon are our amazing partners.

We are so grateful that we all come together and work like dream teams.

We are definitely rocking the back stage.

Arab Fashion Week 2016

We are so so proud to be doing all the hair and make up for Arab Fashion Week.

The debriefing with all the best make up artists in Dubai at The Lipstick make up Institute which is the best make up Institute in Dubai, in our opinion.

Tomorrow it all begins with the Kids fashion show and Lamya Abedin.

We will be updating the blog every day with millions of backstage pictures which is where all the action happens. We will put videos on. Instagram, Facebook and twitter.

We cannot contain our excitement. We have a team of about 45 Make Up Artists. 15 Hair specialist and 10 mail technicians.

It makes us so happy when someone is interested in what we are achieving.

When I think that we have only been open nearly a year!. Our 1st anniversary is October 13th. I am so proud of what we gave achieved. It just goes to show, together we can do anything.

Team work is everything.As I tell me teams, we are all as important as each other. We are all part of this wheel that keeps turning. Without each other then we are no as strong. The more the merrier. Thats what I have always said and as I am seeing, its absolutely true.

We are so happy to have so many different teams joining us.

Well here we are again doing what we love and being crazy in the studio, having fun whilst creating the zombie and old age look on the run up to Halloween when all the goals come out and the broomsticks!! ha ha

We have collected over the years all the facts and tips that we need to create theses looks and thats what make us one if the best make up schools in Dubai.

We all remember the days when everyone dressed up as of vampires to of to fancy dress but zombies are even more exciting as there are no rules, you can have as many cuts and scars as you like. There is no format to applying zombie make up.

You have to apply the first few rules and get a great base using the latex in a fashion that will create a long lasting bespoke look.

Every Sunday we have teamed up with Nikki Beach Dubai and we celebrate, “Amazing Sundays”. Our sister company, YH Studios DXB, does all the photography when all the girls and boys are made up by The Lipstick Make up Institute Team, making our statement that we are fast becoming the best make up school in Dubai.

Once we went to a company to discuss using their Hollywood products in the school before we eventually decided on Kryolan, there was never really any competition with really but we had to be open to suggestions.

They showed us some samples and I had to leave her there as it was just not exciting enough for me, 3,5 hours later she calls me to pick her up!
