The secret of a dewy skin

We all love that healthy glow and wet finish on the skin.

It gives a fresh and soft look on the skin and of course its an absolute trend .

To achieve it will share with you some really easy techniques and tips :

Use a moisturiser before foundation
Spray your face with water spray before the foundation
Apply the liquid foundation with foundation brush
Spray the water spray all over your face
Apply Kryolan Shimmering Event Foundation in a thin layer onto the face
Spray the face with water spray
Add a touch of loose powder on the face
Spray your face with water spray

It is easy and quick.

Looks really nice in his weather but summertime also.

The Lipstick Makeup Institute was at Oracle today and was doing a live demonstration about the importance of makeup.

Before we went there to see all the lovely ladies we had to think of a few words to catch their attention. We had to let everyone know that we are The Best Make Up Institute in Dubai ha!

Although So This is what we thought of:

So we should call it the “Feel Good Factor”

A woman’s mood can change in an instant if hey look good, they will fell good. If they feel good they will smile and radiate energy thats contagious and positive and can only be a great thing!

Make up is a very important contributory factor to helping this.

I will give young scenario.

If a lady feels a little tired and has no make up on and she catches herself in the mirror, she will shy away an feel even worse than she looks and hence will have a lower tone on the phone and not project any positive vibes to clients or even friends.

On the other side, if she has make up on and she catches herself in the mirror and she looks good! she will feel good and radiate that energy to potential clients giving positive vibes throughout the office and can only be good for self esteem and for business.

So the solution is, to make the most out of yourself every day to feel good and this is also goof for your health, marriage and self esteem!

All in all these questions were answered on our live demonstration.

We started with a light daytime look discussing about choosing the right colour of foundation, application techniques, contours and highlights and setting the foundation.

Afterward this step we were giving a brief description about filling up and defining the eyebrows.

Firstly Eye makeup – easy steps for a daytime application using all neutral colours

Secondly Mascara application giving a final touch for the eyes

How to apply the blusher and where to place it exactly, which colours are for the daytime look.

Thirdly Lipliner and lipstick application with a touch of a gloss was our finishing step on our lovely model.

Now we gave a situation to our Ladies of usual everyday situation of no having time for makeup touchup for an evening time.

We added a bit of drama on the eyes, cheeks and lips.

Just in few steps you can easily transform your makeup from a daytime to a glamorous evening look.

Try to concentrate on the eyebrows, eyes, cheeks and lips.

Add more colour and more darker colour on the eyes, make the blusher stronger and add a darker lipstick on the lips its that easy to achieve an evening look.

Courcelles Fashion Show
The Lipstick Makeup Institute Team is really excited to be working together and to be part of such event. Held at Dubai Ladies Club on Saturday 5th November.

The Beautiful kids wore all the designer labels. Boss Hugo Boss, Chloe , Little Marc Jacobs , Karl Lagerfeld Kids, DKNY and Billyblush

These are just some of the luxury fashion brands represented by the cuttest kids of different countries.

The little beauties loved it and were so excited. I was so proud of them. One or two had a little moment but soon got over it.

There were lots of activities for them to keep them amused too and nail painting, games slides etc. Also complimentary food such as burgers, hot dogs, chips. There was even deserts crepes, popcorn , candy floss and ice creams. Not only for the children but for all the parents too.

The Events company #mo4network did an amazing job of organising the whole event and bringing it all together.

It was our pleasure and enjoying every single minute of them doing their Rosey cheeks. blushes, powder and lip gloss The hair that all gorgeous thick and curly, it was amazing styling them while the kids talking and asking so much questions, as kids do. If I could do a fashion Show like this every week, I would love it. Such a pleasure to work not only with the kids but the parents too. Its so lovely to see everyone happy and pulling together. It also gives The Lipstick make Up team more experience in every genre. We want to do every event in Dubai that we can. We just love it. Make Up is not just about being am make up institute and teaching but getting involved in all these different diverse events, its fun!

Day 2 Halloween Make up

Our second day at #billionairemansiondubai where we are doing all the halloween make up! Scary stuff ha. One of the best nightclubs in Dubai.

Don’t you just love Dubai? Everyone just gets so involved and makes the most of every occasion. It really is a community like no other. I feel that everyone cares about themselves and loves one another and really do make friends easy here. Make up and photography brings everyone together in a unique way.

This is a city to party and make the most out of life. You would think in an Arab country things would be a little suppressed but Sheikh Mohammed in my eyes and really everyone I know we call him The Great Sheikh Mohammed. He is the greeters guy on this earth in my opinion, I can say that because my father is no longer with us!

He has given us an opportunity to come here and live our dreams. Given us the freedom to grow and create and party! I can’t thank this great man enough.

So getting back to Halloween, As I do tend to meander when I feel passionate about things which is basically everything!!

Arab Fashion Week Final Day

I just have to share these images with you from Arab Fashion Week Final day. It was so amazing. The models, The Lipstick make Up Institute Teams were just on fire as were the Lipstick Hair Teams.

Just a team effort. Its amazing the amount of people that come together and support each other and help one another.

The Lipstick Make Up Institute is fast becoming in demand as is getting known because of our dedication. Hard work and commitment to our clients for being one of the best if not the best make Up Institute in Dubai. We work hard for this title though. Pure work but to be truthful it does not feel like work at all as its just what we love to do.

This is our motto on the wall, ” Love What you do and do what you love”.

Thats the slogan we all live by and as I say to everyone the day I stop loving it is the day that I will stop. Pack my bags and retreat to a far away island, open a bar, get a little boat to pull clients on water skis. Have a little tapas restaurant attached with a a Spanish/ Pakistani/ Irish twist!. I am half Pakistani and half Irish and tapas originates from Spain Thats where all the fusion come together.

Arab Fashion Week Final Day

Thats my dream and believe me one day I will do it but right now I am loving my life just too much but one day not too far away.

“Time to Chill” will be my new slogan to live my life by.

Well we survived the first year with flying colours. We have been involved in so many events. Fashion Shows. Courses. Photoshoots. The list is endless.

All are invited a few selected friends to join in our celebrations of winning the Eurasian World Championships, celebrate the MD’s, Yasmin Hussain Birthday and also for completing The Week at Arab Fashion week.

We thoroughly enjoyed our whole event. We put on a few small fashion shows and displayed some amazing designers clothes with beautiful models.

Well, it is always fun to learn at the Make up institute but especially when its a creative special effects day.

Our student chose our make up school as she did here research from South Africa and decided that we were the best make up school in Dubai to teach her all that she wants to know and she was absolutely right.

The daily task was to to make a relatively young person old and just take a look at the results.

Using the best makeup in our opinion, Kryolan , you can actually do anything. Once you learn the techniques then the make up will allow yo to explore the possibilities of your talent and give you the freedom to push yourself to the limits.

I am sure you agree that the results are great. All our photos are shot by our sister photography studio, YH Studios DXB. They have been here for 4 years and are the prefect partner for a make up school. In fact, I don’t know how the school would be without it. Everyone make up school should have one. The results of any make up lesson need to be recorded and thats what YH Studios does. Our students have this great advantage and we are the only make up school in Dubai to have such a partner company.

Well here we are again doing what we love and being crazy in the studio, having fun whilst creating the zombie and old age look on the run up to Halloween when all the goals come out and the broomsticks!! ha ha

We have collected over the years all the facts and tips that we need to create theses looks and thats what make us one if the best make up schools in Dubai.

We all remember the days when everyone dressed up as of vampires to of to fancy dress but zombies are even more exciting as there are no rules, you can have as many cuts and scars as you like. There is no format to applying zombie make up.

You have to apply the first few rules and get a great base using the latex in a fashion that will create a long lasting bespoke look.
