Smokey Eyes

Smokey Eyes Look Is a perfect makeup look for photo shoots, high fashion looks and for fashion shows. Basically its a simple full smokey look on the top with a transparent lip gloss. The steps of application are the same as the classical one. We need to make sure that the base (eye shadow) is strong ( 2 layers and blended).

Finish the whole makeup and exactly before the photo shooting or stage apply the lip gloss in one thick layer, carefully not to mess up the eye shadows and blending.

Smokey Eyes Application

Apply a transparent (clear) lip gloss on the top of eye shadows, especially on the centre of the lid (moving area of the eye) with a flat eye shadow brush. If you want to create a full wet look on the face you can apply the lip gloss on the high point of the face (top of cheekbones, bridge of the nose, chin, centre of the forehead). The look is ready for the shooting or for the stage. This look is not an everyday makeup.

Smokey Look

The smokey is for fashion shoes or photo shoots. The eye makeup will be spoiled by the lip gloss so make sure that you are in time and quick. The other two ways of creating a wet look is with Vaseline and the 8 hours cream.

The magical TV Stick foundation

The absolutely favourite full coverage foundation is the Kryolan TV Paint Stick not only makeup artists but anyone loves it who wants a flawless skin just in few strokes.

As a texture is dry and giving a semi matte finish. Perfect for combination skin and effectively reduces the shiny on the oily skin also.

Mostly used in theatre, TV, bridal makeup but can be used for any occasion.

No primer required before the TV Stick. The foundation will stay for more than 12 hours on our skin with just applying the TV stick on a plain skin. What is really important to make sure that the skin is dry (not over moisturised and wet because of the moisturiser or primer). In this case the foundation will stick to the skin and in 40 minutes will absorb.

Because its full coverage we can use it for creating drag makeup and its perfect in blocking out the eyebrows also.

The application can be with a foundation brush and the latex sponge also.

Tip of the day: apply the TV Stick with a wet sponge for a natural look if you need more coverage apply the TV Stick foundation with foundation brush.

The correct foundation application

Brush? Sponge? Beauty blender or fingers?

What is the right way? Well it depends what is the texture of your foundation.

If its liquid the best is to apply with a foundation brush or buffing or kabuki brush. This way the foundation layer will be thin and invisible on your skin but the same time a nice coverage. The Beauty blender is for blending the foundation after the brush application.

Cream foundations especially if we are using Kryolan Supracolor, Dermacolor or TV Stick the best to apply with wet latex sponge by dabbing in the skin not dragging around the foundation.

The correct foundation application

Tip of the day: If you have a dry skin and wondering how to achieve dewy and healthy glowing skin here is our tip for you. Before applying the liquid foundation spray your face with a water spray or rose water.

Do this between every single step. The rose water will give you a moisturised and dewy look.

To apply foundation, most individuals use their fingers, a sponge, or a brush. During a season change, there is a modest alteration in skin tone among sunscreen users. If you normally apply foundation with a brush, experiment with using your fingers. It only need a tiny amount of product. To blend out the foundation, use a wet sponge.

Choose Your Foundations

Blend the foundation with a deeper color. Always remember that a darker foundation must be applied after a lighter one. Newer techniques combine two foundations of the same colour. The most common problem that all of us struggling from to find the right colour of the foundation we are wearing.

When you go to the makeup store forget about trying the foundation on your hands. The reason is:

is not the same colour like your face
the skin on our face is more sensitive
the skin on your face is a different skin type than your hands so of course you have to find the matching foundation to your skin type.

The process of trying and finding the right colour is very simple. Pick up 3 colours which are very similar to your skin colour and try them on your face near to the jawline area. The colour what blends in completely to your skin and not visible that is your foundation colour.

Tip of the day: When applying foundation, apply it little by little build up your foundation. In this case you will get a perfect coverage and will look natural not caked up and a mask effect on a face.

Tips Smokey Eye Look

Steps :

1- Cleansing – we are using the LAQUA tonic

2- For a healthy glowing, dewy skin will use the Kryolan Vitacolor foundation and blend it with a sponge.

3- Our models undertones are warm to correct it will use a yellow corrector.

4- Contouring and highlighting with Kryolan Supracolors.

5- Set the foundation with white translucent powder.

6 Define and fill in the eyebrows with dark brown eye shadow.

7- Apply a base colour on the entire eyelid.

8- Contour the upper lash line with black eye shadow

9- For a perfect smokey look smudge the contours with dark brown eye shadow and define the crease lineStep 10 Apply a white gold highlighter under the eyebrows

11- Define the bottom lash line with black eye shadow and smudge it

12- For the absolute glamorous look apply micro pigments on the lid

13- Mascara on the bottom lash line

14 – Apply the blush and highlighter

15 – Lipstick application
