So lets talk today about makeup concept. As a makeup artist you have to understand that before you’ve started to create your beauty look you should clearly understand what exactly you are going to do. 

Firstly, you need to chose specific type of makeup. Secondary, you have to prepare all required makeup products & tools. Thirdly, you should find model with most close face figures for it. 

Choosing a makeup look 

First of all, Makeup Artist is an Artist. What does it mean? That’s mean that face is your blank canvas and makeup products are your paints.  When MUAs choosing their looks they always have to follow their feeling and mood. Each and everyone from makeup artists has their own touch. That’s a unique and spectacular thing that identify them from others.

Hair Styling Class

Hair Styling Class

Hi everyone. Recently our students passed their theoretical exam, so now it’s time to start practising. 

During practical part of the Platinum International Media Makeup Course all of them learning how correctly to apply and do all kinds of makeup, but not only that. Firstly, with Nude, Natural makeup they are improving in their complexion tips. Secondary, with Evening makeup they are  progressing with cream counter and eye makeup. Thirdly, moving to Cat Walk, Red Carpet, Arabic, Bollywood … they are getting more and more professional in makeup applications. 

Practical part of the course also includes  Hair Styling part. Currently today we are having full day Hair Style class. During it students can learn how to blow dry, straighten and choose correct and the most sutabale hairstyle due to face shape and look. Soft natural waves, fancy small curls, high pony tail, buns, curling and straightening with straighteners, choosing correct required tools for certain hair styles.

Perfect makeup with correct blending, colours, beautiful outfit and lovely hairstyle are the main requirements for the best photography and videography.  That’s why the main goal of The Lipstick Makeup Institute team is to make sure all graduates are understanding all points mentioned up.

Special Effects Week

Special Effects Week

For our students of the Professional International Platinum Makeup Course this week is a final week. 

Firstly, all of them did a great job. Secondary, their portfolios are looking really amazing.  Thirdly, now our graduates fully prepared to start their journey in the world of Art, Fashion & Beauty. 

Special Effects

On the last week of studying and practicing our students are working on their last portfolio look. They are getting in touch with latex, wax, fake blood and other specific products that are used for Special Effects Makeup. 

It’s a great fun, because such experience they can’t get anywhere else. By the end of the week crazy stuff going on in school. Students creating really  scary looks on the models. Please note that all products and models are provided by The Lipstick Makeup Institute.

We want to share the big news. We just signed the contract between the distinguished Arab Fashion Council and The Lipstick Institute.

NEWS: The Lipstick Makeup Institute was selected as the main organiser for the Arab Fashion Week formally. It marks a significant Achievement for the Management and the Skilled Team of The Institute.  Working tirelessly to Secure the Selection, it shows the trust and belief in the abilities of the institute by the  Arab Fashion Council.

Because of this move, we will be able to give more opportunities for our graduates. For example, we can give them chances to work in major fashion shows, high profile events, and VIP clients. Our students leave our makeup school not only with the qualifications to work in the industry, but with enough experience and confidence to work within any media production company or solely as freelancers.

One major bonus, which will give students a great advantage, is being part of an environment and atmosphere of a professional working photography studio. Our students also have  the unique opportunity to frequently assist a professional photographer in the studio environment on model portfolios, corporate shoots, family shoots, etc and every scenario that studio environments offers.

Season 8 and again The Lipstick Makeup Institute team was rocking at the backstage of Arab Fashion Week.

We had an amazing new makeup sponsors. Also great and creative designers  entered the show this year to display for the world their beautiful collections. 

New Location – 1422.  All Arab Fashion Shows of Dubai will be running there from now and on. Place is  really beautiful and fashionable. It is based in the heart of City Walk Dubai. 

1422 – the world’s first official Ready Couture Concept Store featuring designers from around the world.  

MAKEUP & HAIR SPONSORS: The Lipstick Makeup Institute,  Bassam Fattouh, Grimas Professional Makeup, GAM Cosmetic Eyelashes, and Sisters Beauty Lounge.

Our TEAM is our proud. The Graduates from The Platinum Media Makeup  course from The Lipstick Makeup Institute  and Head Makeup Artist was leading the makeup department backstage. Head hairstylist Jamilla Paul – trainer of Sisters Beauty Lounge. Together were created really cool high fashion looks for beautiful models from Cover Page Agency Dubai. 

Each member is extremely busy during 5 days of  Arab Fashion Week. The  Teams was  making 360 sure that all the models were ready before every show. Each evening we had  a variety of designers with there own looks.  Some designers were stacking to natural glowy looks,  but at the same time  some of them were looking for something extravagant, bright and sparkling .
