Season 8 and again The Lipstick Makeup Institute team was rocking at the backstage of Arab Fashion Week.

Also we had an amazing new makeup sponsors. Also great and creative designers  entered the show this year to display for the world their beautiful collections. 

Although our New Location – 1422.  All Arab Fashion Shows of Dubai will be running there from now and on. Place is  really beautiful and fashionable. It is based in the heart of City Walk Dubai.

The Graduates from The Platinum Media Makeup  course from The Lipstick Makeup Institute  and Head Makeup Artist was leading the makeup department backstage. Head hairstylist Jamilla Paul – trainer of Sisters Beauty Lounge. all in all were created really cool high fashion looks for beautiful models from Cover Page Agency Dubai. 

All in all each member is extremely busy during 5 days of  Arab Fashion Week. The  Teams was  making 360 sure that all the models were ready before every show. Because each evening we had  a variety of designers with there own looks.  Some designers were stacking to natural glowy looks,  but at the same time  some of them were looking for something extravagant, bright and sparkling .

The magical TV Stick foundation

The absolutely favourite full coverage foundation is the Kryolan TV Paint Stick not only makeup artists but anyone loves it who wants a flawless skin just in few strokes.

As a texture is dry and giving a semi matte finish. Perfect for combination skin and effectively reduces the shiny on the oily skin also.

Mostly used in theatre, TV, bridal makeup but can be used for any occasion.

No primer required before the TV Stick. The foundation  will stay for more than 12 hours on our skin with just applying  the TV stick on a plain skin. What is really important to make sure that the skin is dry (not over moisturised and wet because of the moisturiser or primer).  In this case the foundation will stick to the skin and in 40 minutes will absorb.

Because its full coverage we can use it for creating drag makeup and its perfect in blocking out the eyebrows also.

The application can be with a foundation brush and the latex sponge also.

Tip of the day:  apply the TV Stick with a wet sponge for a  natural look if you need more coverage apply the TV Stick foundation with foundation brush.

This way they get to learn just how makeup should look and be applied for Media Makeup.

Start with a good clean  face and putting on the correct foundation is the most important aspect of applying make up. Most of us are applying the wrong colour foundation. MOST Importantly, DO NOT test the foundation on your hand. You MUST test it on the face. The colour and skin on the hand is completely different.

The residents who come from all over the world will need hair and makeup.  This was great opportunity for me to employ our graduates and students to help. 

We had around 45 staff to prepare the residents for the gala dinner with Kylie Minogue. It was a a formal dress evening and very glamorous. 

Everyone who came and sat in the seats were extremely happy. We had no complaints.

Anyway, furthermore  it was a complete success for the team at www.thelipstickmakeup.institute

This was the case  as we got booked for The Atlantis Royal 3 day event which was HUGE.

As always our Lipstick Make Up team is creating and making the models look beautiful on the catwalk. Fresh, professional and stylish make up and hair. Our Creative team are just amazing. Livia the Master Make Up Teacher, trains then students to become the best Make Up Artists in Dubai.

Thats the slogan we all live by and as I say to everyone the day I stop loving it is the day that I will stop. Pack my bags and retreat to a far away island, open a bar, get a little boat to pull clients on water skis. Have a little tapas restaurant attached with a a Spanish/ Pakistani/ Irish twist!. I am half Pakistani and half Irish and tapas originates from Spain Thats where all the fusion come together.
