At this time a former member of the boy band One Direction, headed to Dubai for another concert for the Dubai Shopping Festival.

All in all, Liam Payne is well known for hit songs such as Strip That Down, Polaroid, Bedroom Floor and his latest single Stack It Up.

Furthermore, the Lipstick Makeup Institute team was asked to do Liam’s makeup for the concert held in Dubai last 27th of December.

By and large, even more, coupled with this concert commemorated the opening of the Dubai Shopping Festival held yearly every December.

BBC Documentary at the Lipstick Makeup Institute

BBC Ireland passed by our makeup institute a couple of days ago to do an interview with Yasmin Hussain the founder of YH Studios and The Lipstick Makeup Institute.

BBC Ireland passed by the other day to do a documentary with Yasmin for a TV show. The shoot was was scheduled for two days in YH Studios, The Lipstick Makeup Institute and the Arab Fashion Council Headquarters.

They were able to feature some of our students working on their models and had an interview with Jacob Abrian, the CEO and Founder of the Arab Fashion Council.

The BBC crew were able to film our teachers, students and graduates while working on our models in the hour-long documentary.

They talked about how the students and graduates are very much involved during and after their courses finish. This is very evident with the fact that we bring them to different events and photoshoots. This is also great for them to have exposure for their careers as makeup artists. It is a blessing to have wonderful and talented students that are so hard working.

They toured around the facilities and showcased our new location at City Walk 2. We wanted to make sure that people know that we’ve moved from Media City and is now in a better area at the heart of Dubai.

The BBC crew also showcased Ms. Yasmin Hussain on the job while she photographed Max Fardan.

Trunk Show at 1422 – A new season, a new collection. The Arab Fashion Council will be holding another trunk show together with The Lipstick Makeup Institute Team. It will be held in the Arab Fashion Council Head Quarters in City Walk.

Trunk Show at 1422 – Our team is doing makeup for the trunk show with the Arab Fashion Council. We are very excited about this. Our team will be backstage taking care of the models before the show. Making sure that they’re ready before they walk out clad in beautiful garments made by world class designers from the region. As the official backstage makeup team, we strive to showcase our talents and skills no matter how big or small the event is.

We’ll be using the cosmetic products provided to us by Makeup Forever Middle East. They have been gracious enough to sponsor our Institute with their amazing products.

Also, if you haven’t read our previous blog, we mentioned that we’re having a crash course on the Professional Platinum Media Makeup Diploma Course. We’re holding this course for three weeks intensively – like a boot camp. The students who will be joining this course will be receiving the benefits of the Platinum Media Makeup Diploma Course. Today marks another Milestone for The Lipstick Makeup Institute. As you all know by now, YH Studios and TLMI have just moved in to City Walk 2 at the Arab Fashion Council Headquarters.

And we are so excited with the changes that have happened so far.

Basically, our first batch of Platinum Students have started their course 2 weeks back. Now, they’re working backstage as part of the whole team.

This is the first time that The Lipstick Makeup Team is doing the Arab Fashion Week as the Arab Fashion Council’s official partner.

Albeit we are pleased to be a part of this momentous event as AFW SS20 kicks off tonight.
