Every Sunday, The Lipstick Make Up teams are at Nikki Beach Dubai, chilling with the customers and enjoying.

We paint the customers faces and arms and make you feel gorgeous.

We teamed up with Nikki Beach to give the customers the best time on Sundays that they can have.

Lipstick 1st Year anniversary Party

Well we survived the first year with flying colours. We have been involved in so many events. Fashion Shows. Courses. Photoshoots. The list is endless.

We invited a few selected friends to join in our celebrations of winning the Eurasian World Championships, celebrate the MD’s, Yasmin Hussain Birthday and also for completing The Week at Arab Fashion week.

We thoroughly enjoyed our whole event. We put on a few small fashion shows and displayed some amazing designers clothes with beautiful models.

Day 4 of Arab Fashion Week

Another amazing, crazy busy day at Meydan Hotel. We are the major Sponsors of Arab Fashion week for the hair, make up and nails.

I am blown away by the camaraderie, support and respect everyone has for each other.

These events are something special that everyone just loves to be involved in, including me. Sometimes it make you crazy as the pressure and timings are sometimes unrealistic but its fun and exciting!

People respond better under pressure. What does not break us makes us stronger.

Day 3 Backstage photos of Arab Fashion Week

What a week so far, day 3 of Arab Fashion Week. The Lipstick Make Up Institute Teams are always hard at work. Behind the scenes making sure everything runs smoothly.

Working with International Models flown in from all over the world. Brazil, Italy, Switzerland, Russia and lots of places.

What a pleasure to work with such professionals.

Just amazing, all the Lipstick Teams loved it. We had major support from everyone. Feel so lucky and proud. after this event we can do anything in the world. Its on par with New York, Milan and London Fashion Weeks.

Day 3 of #Arabfashionweek . Backstage is where all the fun,action and tension is. What a team effort. Support from every angle . Amazing show other #aouadiparis with gold leaves applied to the models, fingertips, feet and one completely covered in gold.

Another Chilled day at Nikki Beach Dubai

Every Sunday, The Lipstick make Up teams are at Nikki Beach Dubai, chilling with the customers and enjoying, “Amazing Sundays”. This happens across the globe at all Nikki Beach clubs from St. Tropez to Miami.

We paint the customers faces and arms, apply tattoos and party!

We have the headdress, make up, photography and its all free.

We teamed up with Nikki Beach to give the customers the best time on Sundays that they can have.

Its like a little escape from Dubai. To me, it truly make me feel like I am in the Mediterranean.

The whole set up is so cool and lots go amazing sides to it. Even the sea look so different than the sea at like say, Barasti which is near where I live why? I have no idea it just seems to be really blue!

Parting With Nikki Beach And The Lipstick Team

Every Sunday we have teamed up with Nikki Beach Dubai and we celebrate, “Amazing Sundays”. Our sister company, YH Studios DXB, does all the photography when all the girls and boys are made up by The Lipstick Make up Institute Team, making our statement that we are fast becoming the best make up school in Dubai.

Everyone can come and join us, its fun in the sun. Its not like work for us. We brought two of our make up students who travelled just to Dubai to join Our Lipstick make up School. Rim from Jordan and Mirjam from Germany.

We feel very blessed that our reputation has reached people from all over and that they are enthusiastic about crossing the miles to meet and work with us.

Creative UV Makeup Training Day for All The Lipstick Teams

“We love what we do and do what we love”

Thats Our Motto and we stick to it!

And the most we love is to create yet unseen looks and concepts in makeup and showcase it to all of you.

Yesterday was a Creative makeup training day in our Institute for The Lipstick Team.

We love our team and they deserve the best training.

We were presenting 2 completely different looks:

Avant-garde makeup

2. Fantasy makeup – body painting with UV Glow colours

About the Avant-garde style

The term avant-garde refers to innovative or experimental concepts or works, or the group of people producing them. Pushing boundaries with the development of Cubism, Pablo Picasso was part of the early 20th-century art world’s avant-garde. He in fact Personifies this style!

So we were pushing our boundaries and combined loads of different makeup application techniques in our Creative Make Up day.

Of course as always we were using Kryolan products so much glitters, gellafix, crushed mirror, sequences, crystals, Supracolors in colours, Aquacolors and glitter powders and pure colour pigments.

Our concept was to create something different and special.

Inspired by high fashion and fantasy looks, to create an aqua, watery impression followed by glow and shine.

Our models final look is really impressive, different and extraordinary but still she looks beautiful and feminine.

Fantasy look with UV glow colours

Our another look was inspired by the fantastic Galaxy.

This is how we created the, “Galactical Princess” Look, Sparkly and bright.

Handmade skirt, painted top and collar were the main contents of this look.

It was a real fun look to work on Our Lipstick Teams were fascinated as they had never been involved in anything like this before. A complete transformation before their eyes.

I was applying the UV colours in the dark under the UV light with the whole team watching it.

Of course it was a bit challenging but that was the most interesting part in it.

For the whole look we were using Kryolan products.

Kryolan UV glow aqua colors, UV glow eyeshadows and Hair spray and a free hand to draw some funky lines and splash the colours all over the models body.

We really enjoyed creating the look and looking forward to the next project.

Eyeliner for cocktail makeup

A strong mouth brings out the flush in your cheeks, so go light on blush, but do take a couple of minutes to define your eyes. Run a rich black or brown liner pencil which has a touch of iridescence as close as possible to your upper and lower lash lines, Then finish with two coats of black mascara.

ADDITIONAL:

If you have fair skin, try blue-based berry colors with a bit of translucence

If you have olive/medium skin, try creamy, succulent, red-tinged plums.

If you have dark skin try deep, saturated raisin hues.

Softly shimmering highlighter.

Daytime lips and lipstick

The Lipstick.

Woman’s lips are one of the most sensual part of the face so we need to take a good care of them.

Moisturise it and enhance it with our favourite lipstick.

Lipstick are every woman’s first love and mostly one of the first cosmetic items she starts using in her life. A dash of colour on the pout adds to the charm of a woman and makes her look really beautiful. Usually the choice of any lip colour is largely based on the occasion when you wish to flaunt the lip colour. Usually very vibrant bold shades are kept to be worn at special events like wedding or engagements and some other intense shades for a date night. Well, the choice of lipstick also depends on the day and night time as one likes to keep the stunning dramatic shades for the night time look and wear soft lip color during the day time.

In general, it holds quite true as a very bold and bright shade of lip colour may not go with your look during the day but the same lip colour will make you look drop dead gorgeous if worn during the night!

This lipstick colour is in natural brown color which falls into the category of nude shades. Since this is not a very deep brown, the shade will look good on medium to fair skin tones as well

Pink is a beautiful cool toned everyday wear pink shade. It is a little lighter than a proper fuchsia shade. It doesn’t dry the lips and doesn’t transfer much. It is surely a great pink for everyday wear!

It is a brick red shade with brown hues. The shade is a wearable brown. It does not transfer much and stays for a good time. The lipstick is not highly pigmented and a second swipe is needed to get the colour.

This one belongs to the nude shade category and is light brown hue with very slight undertones of mauve shade. It looks more of a creamy light nude brown shade. It looks very nice during the day time.

Training time with the best Institute in Dubai

I would like to share my first ever training that I attended in Dubai. My motivation to attend the training organised by The Lipstick Make up Institute and the YH Studios Dubai by Yasmin Hussain last June 2016.

The training theme is of special relevance to my professional goals and career objectives, and therefore I really appreciate the opportunity given to me to attend this training together with my professional co makeup artist.

I enjoyed every part of it, especially the creative makeup done by Livia Rideg the Eurasia World Champion Make up artist and the master of makeup.

And I’m very honour to work with the best.Her expertise in the makeup industry I find it a very motivational and inspiring to me.

I always keep in mind;

If you want to be a makeup artist only for fame, then this career is not for you
Makeup artistry is an art and you’ll need lots of practice to improve your skills; you’ll never finish learning.
Practicing on models with different face types, eye shapes, and skin tones will improve your skills
