My Teaching Experience At The Lipstick Makeup Institute

It has really been an amazing week and i would like to thank the one who gave me this wonderful chance to achive one of my dreams .

Thank you Yasmin Hussain owner and managing director at The Lipstick Makeup Institute and YH Studios. I have had an absolutely amazing oportunity for being a makeup educator in such an amazing place. Its like working in a makeup and fashion castle. Everything around you starting with the place loctation , name , decorations , furniture , stuff , music , students , makeup , photoshoots all day> The main attribute of course her passion and love to her work which is in the air and you can feel it as soon as you enter this gorgeous place .

I will talk about my experince in teaching two diffrent makeup courses. On this blog I will talk about The Bronze Bridal Makeup Course and my next blog I will talk about The Silver Creative Makeup Course. I have loved every single moment with my two lovely students explaining to them all makeup steps and techniques and giving them hints , tips and some makeup applications secrets too. They completely rose to the challenges I set.

The Bronze Bridal Makeup Course ( European , Arabic and Indian ) i have been through all the steps and details with my lovely student and explanied to her the deffrence between every bridal look and how to prepare the bride for her big day and of course practicing every look on a model so she can learn how to correct and define her misakes to achieve her final look by using the wonderful kryolan makeup products .

Yesterday was a great day Dubai tv was shooting at the lipstick makeup institute .

We had our lovely model with gorgeous glam look done by THE LIPSTICK MAKEUP INSTITUTE makeup artist , i explained her look step by step and what is the 2017 fashion in makeup and hair it was really fun and exciting .

The Secret to Perfect eyebrows Tip Make Up Tips Part 2

Theres a saying the “Eyebrows are the frame of our face”

They are definitely and this is why we need to make sure that we have the right shape of eyebrows and they are nicely defined.

Don’t overdo them!!!

Every part of our face is equally important.

So make sure that your makeup is in harmony with the whole face.

Eyebrows are important such as cheekbones or lips or eyes.

But how to shape them? And how to make them perfect?

First of all you can choose if you like your eyebrows soft and natural or more defined.

If you are in the first group of soft eyebrow lovers all what you will do is:

clean up the excess hair around your eyebrows with tweezers. Clean lines look smooth and sharp
brush your eyebrows with an eyebrow brush
take an angled brush, get a 3 or 4 shades lighter colour than your eyebrows and fill them up
why use a lighter colour? because we want to create shadow between the hair. If you will take the same colour of your eyebrow it will become much more stronger and aggressive. Too dark just looks so false and really doesn’t look good. The fashion now is to have amazing eyebrows but must be done right.

If you like sharp and defined eyebrows:

Make sure that your eyebrows are fully cleaned no hair around them.
Take a concealer and apply a lighter shade around your eyebrows from the top and bottom part.
Take an angled brush and with an eyeshadow what is lighter than your eyebrows draw a line from the bottom of your eyebrows and a top of the eyebrows. Start to blend the two lines together.
Also brush it. Anytime you can add more eyeshadow colour or if you feel its too strong you can tone it down by brushing the eyebrows.
To fix your eyebrows you can use eyebrow gel, it will make the hair stay at the place and will give your eyebrows a nice shiny look.

Practice makes perfect! Always and if you apply this logic to your life then you will not go far wrong.

Don’t forget this golden rule.

الآن سوف نتحدث عن تجربة واحد من طلابنا هنا الذي تولى البلاتين دورة مكياج في لأحمر الشفاه المكياج المعهد الذي تخرج في ديسمبر الماضي 2016.

طار Javaria كل من باكستان إلى الانخراط في معهدنا. وقالت إنها بدأت مع صفر المعرفة في ماكياج. في البداية أنها لا تعرف كيفية التفريق بين الفرق بين الظل من الأساس، ما هو يناسب لون البشرة من شخص واحد. هذه هي الخطوة الأكثر أهمية عند تطبيق الماكياج. الكلمة نفسها، "الأساس" حقا يقول كل شيء. مثل عند بناء المنزل، وإذا كان لديك أساسا جيدا ثم يمكنك بناء على ذلك بنجاح. التشبيه آخر مثل العلاقة. تبدأ أساسا جيدا ثم وهذا يمكن أن يبنى على وجود علاقة مذهلة يمكن أن تنمو.

تحليل الشكل، لون البشرة من شخص ليست سهلة للمبتدئين ولكن إذا كان لديك شغف واهتمام لمعرفة ذلك سيأتي من السهل تحديد تماما مثل ما فعل Javaria. تستمع ولاحظ جيدا لمعلمتها لتحقيق هذا النوع من الماكياج لنماذج لها. ببطء يوما بعد يوم عن طريق القيام ماكياج لنماذج لها أنها حققت أنواع مختلفة من نظرة من النهار ننظر إلى المساء، ونظرة براقة. وكذلك نظرة المبدع الذي يتمتعون به للقيام كثيرا.

Hi Everyone!

Our topic for today is all about highlighting!

You can learn what is the effect and how to apply

Before beginning your highlighting and contouring, you must first determine your face shape. Faces can be oval, rectangular, round, heart-shaped, oblong, diamond-shaped, or triangular (including inverted triangular). To determine your face shape, pull all of your hair back tightly and examine your face in the mirror, looking for the following attributes. A measuring tape may be used to measure the length and width of the face for a more precise determination.
OVAL: Oval-shaped faces have a length equal to 1.5 times the width of the face, with forehead and jaw equal widths.
RECTANGULAR: Rectangular faces are 1/3 longer than the width of the face and have strong angles on the forehead and at the jawline.
ROUND: Round faces are as wide as they are long, but with soft, rounded edges.
HEART-SHAPED: Heart-shaped faces have the most width at the cheek, eye, and forehead areas, with a narrow to pointy chin. Sometimes they will also have a high forehead.
OBLONG: Oblong faces are as long as it is wide. Straight sides, a high forehead, and larger than average distance between the bottom of the lip and the tip of the chin are common attributes of the oblong face.
DIAMOND-SHAPED: Diamond-shaped faces are characterized by a narrow forehead and a narrow chin with the widest point at the cheeks.
TRIANGULAR (and INVERTED TRIANGULAR): Triangular faces are wide at the forehead and narrowest at the jawline; inverted triangular faces are widest at the jawline and narrowest at the forehead.Determining your face shape will help you decide where to place your highlights and contours and what features you’d like to define or downplay.

Highlighting certain features of the face can be super flattering for the spring time, if done properly. By illuminating specific areas of the face, you’re putting them in the spotlight, but don’t think taking a face powder with tons of shimmer and applying it all over will give you a flattering look. All good things must come in moderation (even glitter).When it comes to brightening any part of the skin, it’s always a good idea to stick with the “less is more” mindset. Features like cheek bones, under the brow and cupids bow, nose area, chin and forehead are all prime targets to apply some sort of illuminator. We put together every highlighter tip for your face, from where to put a brightener to which products you should be using. We are so proud of our Leila who progressed so much in her 5 days with us. She achieved An International Certificate and 3 amazing images for her Portfolio which is all included as part of the Makeup Course. We have our sister company , YH Studios DXB who are always very involved with the students explaining just how the lights react with make up. Media Make Up is completely diffrent makeup just for events, parting or just going out.

This is the great advantage that having a professional photography studio as part of the package. The students on the courses gain such a great advantage as they understand and can apply all the tips and techniques to their working life once they leave the comfort of our Institute.

How to get that healthy glowing skin

No perfect makeup without a beautiful skin.

This week we will give you useful tips and tricks how to take care of your skin and how to prepare it for the summer time.

Lets start with some basic facts about keeping our skin healthy:

Water is one of the most important substances when it comes to a healthy skin, have at least 8 glasses per day.
Vitamins are essential to give a glow and fresh appearance to our

skin.

3.Dont stress too much! The stress destroys not only the skin but our body also.

4.Sleep at least 7 hours a day

5. Try to avoid smoking and alcohol. They are not only harmful on our skin but the whole body.

6.Don’t forget to clean your skin before sleeping and apply your night cream.

7.Pay attention for removing your eye makeup properly especially the mascara

8.Depending of your skin type use a face scrub once or twice a month to remove the dead skin.

9.Before buying a moisturiser cream consult with a professional to choose the right cream fryer skin.

10…and finally be happy and laugh a lot. Happiness is giving us a beautiful look and the smile is the best makeup a woman can have.
