PROFESSIONAL – In this Course you will learn the basics – advanced makeup application. Whether it be in the beauty field or the fashion industry you’ll be ready to go and be certified. Students who will join this course will have the benefits of the Professional Platinum Media Makeup Course.

Final week of the Professional Platinum Media Makeup Diploma Course. We’re down to the last topic of the course which is Creative Makeup.

Final Creative makeup, we teach basics of using different mediums such as cream coloured makeup, water based makeup (face paint), body painting and how to stick materials to the skin without damaging it. Special FX week with the Lipstick Students is always a week that our students look forward to in their Platinum Makeup Course.

Our students get to explore the power of makeup in its full potential by transforming their models from normal to something out of the ordinary. With special fx makeup, the sky is the limit! You can turn people into monsters, faeries, and different characters. The possibilities are endless and all you need is your imagination.

You can also use this method in creating bruises and wounds. Here are a few samples of our students works for this week:

Apart from the course, our former students are out on a paid job for 4 days at a distinguished and high class location in Dubai doing Special Effects and Halloween Makeup for 30 staff members.

Like we always say, we never leave our students. We always give them jobs after they have graduated from our Institute. This sets us apart from other Institutes in Dubai. We make sure that our students are in the loop with any projects that we have. Especially now that we’re part of the Arab Fashion Council, we have more special jobs for our graduates.

FASHION WEEK SS20 – DAY 1

First day of Arab Fashion Week – SS20

Today marks another Milestone for The Lipstick Makeup Institute. As you all know by now, YH Studios and TLMI have just moved in to City Walk 2 at the Arab Fashion Council Headquarters. And we are so excited with the changes that have happened so far. Our first batch of Platinum Students have started their course 2 weeks back. Now, they’re working backstage as part of the whole team.

This is the first time that The Lipstick Makeup Team is doing the Arab Fashion Week as the Arab Fashion Council’s official partner. We are pleased to be a part of this momentous event as AFW SS20 kicks off tonight.

Together with Makeup Forever Middle East, we create the looks for all the models backstage from the 9th to the 13th of October 2019. Makeup Forever was gracious enough to send us a huge amount of products to use for the Arab Fashion Week.

We want to share the big news. We just signed the contract between the distinguished Arab Fashion Council and The Lipstick Institute.

NEWS: The Lipstick Makeup Institute was selected as the main organiser for the Arab Fashion Week formally. It marks a significant Achievement for the Management and the Skilled Team of The Institute. Working tirelessly to Secure the Selection, it shows the trust and belief in the abilities of the institute by the Arab Fashion Council.

Because of this move, we will be able to give more opportunities for our graduates. For example, we can give them chances to work in major fashion shows, high profile events, and VIP clients. Our students leave our makeup school not only with the qualifications to work in the industry, but with enough experience and confidence to work within any media production company or solely as freelancers.

One major bonus, which will give students a great advantage, is being part of an environment and atmosphere of a professional working photography studio. Our students also have the unique opportunity to frequently assist a professional photographer in the studio environment on model portfolios, corporate shoots, family shoots, etc and every scenario that studio environments offers.

We’re calling out to all our creative and dynamic graduates to go to the Maldives to work in a 5-star resort/spa as makeup artists. All inclusive – flights, hotel, food, etc. This is a fantastic opportunity to live in one of the most beautiful islands in the world.

As one of the top makeup institutes in the UAE, we aim to give opportunities like this to our graduates because we believe in them. Our graduates carry the Lipstick Makeup Institute banner wherever they go, even in the Maldives.

Our institute always aims to give our students the chance to hone their skills by giving them projects even after their studies with us. We always remind our students that learning doesn’t end in school. It starts as you work. Gaining experience is hard if you don’t know where to look — especially paid jobs.
